The MSP ring switching time exceeds the threshold

Hello!

We have an MSP ring network consisting of 13 OptiX OSN 550s. When a fiber cut occurs, the NMS sometimes reports that the MSP ring switching timeout. 

What do we do about it?

Hi!
On the OptiX OSN 500/550/580, when line boards in extended slots are used to form an MSP ring, the number of MSP rings with more than 10 sites is not supported. If there are more than 10 sites, the switching exceeds the threshold. When the line board integrated on the system control board is used, a maximum of 16 sites are supported in the MSP switching scenario. Therefore, if more than 16 MSs need to be formed on the live network, use the line board integrated with the system control board for networking.
