Symptom

After you access the web page of an IPC on a PC running Windows 7 Professional to view live video, the message "Failed to initialize the play control" is displayed.

Cause

You must have the administrator rights to access the web page of an IPC.

Solution

1. Close all open Internet Explorer windows.
2. Right-click the Internet Explorer shortcut icon on the desktop, Choose Run as administrator.
3. Check whether the fault is rectified.
   • If yes, the procedure ends.
   • If no, contact your service provider for assistance.
