The two concepts correspond to the inner and outer VLANs.
Generally, the inner VLAN tag is added from the PC to the ONU on the user side. The corresponding port is also called the uni interface. Logically, the port is also called the inbound interface.
From the ONU to the OLT, the service data needs to be tagged with outer VLAN tags to distinguish the service data.
The port between system editions is also called NNI port.
