Hi all,

I intend to use the WSC port for some application. May I ask for the maximum bandwidth can work on WSC1 and WSC2 port on ST2 card?

Can the traffic on WSC ports affect the communications between two nodes using the same OSC channel?

Thanks for help,

Dear friend!
WSC1 and WSC2 each provide an FE channel. The FE electrical port works in 100 Mbit/s full-duplex mode and supports a maximum packet length of 1518 bytes. This channel is used for emergency communication between two sites and is automatically generated along with the OSC path. Its traffic bandwidth does not affect the bandwidth of the control channel. However, it is affected by the OTDR function of the board. For example, the FE electrical port on the TMB1AST2 board can transparently transmit electrical signals at a maximum of 60 Mbit/s during fiber quality detection. When line fiber quality detection is disabled, a maximum of 98 Mbit/s electrical signals can be transparently transmitted.

Thanks!
