I will share a case about the MA5616 version upgrade today.

Problem Description
The MA5616 is upgraded, but the loading of the version file is slow and often fails.
Problem Analysis
The customer upgrade process is as follows:
1. On the customer's PC, set one public IP address as the TFTP server.
2. Run the backup command to back up the MA5616 configuration file and database file.
3. Run the load packet command to load the version file to the MA5616.
The MA5616 configuration file and database file are successfully backed up from the MA5616.
However, loading the version file to the MA5616 fails and the following information is displayed:
TFTP is based on UDP.
FTP uses TCP to generate a virtual connection for control information and then a separate TCP connection for data transmission.
FTP is more reliable. The customer is advised to use FTP as the transmission protocol.
Root Cause
TFTP is based on the UDP protocol. After UDP packets are discarded on the network, the TFTP server does not have a retransmission mechanism.
Solution Description
Use the FTP tool on the customer's PC. The customer's PC as the FTP server and then run load packet command successfully loads the version file to the MA5616.
