The issue that customer found that embedded GK Cannot Be Used For Conferencing

【Issue Description】

After the SMC server IP address is changed, some SMC services cannot be used properly. For example, the embedded GK cannot be used for conferencing.

【Possible Causes】

The embedded GK IP address (Service-address) is not updated to the new SMC server IP address.

【Troubleshooting Procedure】

1. Access the SMC installation path. The default installation path is D:\Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd\Switch System\SwitchCentre\.
2. Open the gkcfg.ini configuration file using the text editor.
3. Change the value of Service-address to the new IP address (200.53.1.200 in this example). Then, save the change.

   NOTE:

   The default values of SM-IP, IP-Management, and RTP-Server-Ip for the embedded GK are all 127.0.0.1. Do not change these values.

4. On the SMC server, choose Start>Administrative Tools>Server Manager>Configuration>Services.
5. Right-click HUAWEI SMC 2.0 SwitchCentre.
6. From the shortcut menu, choose Restart.
7. Log in to the SMC web interface and check whether the embedded GK can be used for conferencing.
