Hi Rengar,
It is recommended that the trigger-down-weight value of the track interface be smaller than or equal to the sum of down-weight values of all binding interfaces in the interface monitoring group. Otherwise, traffic loss occurs. For example, the interface monitoring group group1 has two binding interfaces: GE0/1/0 and GE0/2/0. The down-weight values of GE0/1/0 and GE0/2/0 are 10 and 20, respectively. The trigger-down-weight value of the track interface is 40, which is greater than 30, namely, the sum of the down-weight values of GE0/1/0 and GE0/2/0. In this case, if GE0/1/0 and GE0/2/0 are faulty, the track interface will not go Down. As a result, services cannot be switched to the backup link, causing traffic loss.
I hope it helps!
