The proper height and shooting angle can help capture clearer images (with better face size and angle) for face detection. At the same time, they help avoid face blocking so that the face images of pedestrians of all heights can be captured.

IPCs are installed in front of a corridor, so IPCs can take snapshots of full-frontal faces. IPCs can detect faces that deviate 15 degrees upward or downward or 30 degrees leftward or rightward.
The recommended installation height ranges from 2.5 m to 3.5 m.
The recommended camera depression angle (α) is 15 degrees.
The distance (d) varies depending on the lens focal length. You need to ensure that the focus of the camera lens is at the entrance or exists of a corridor
