The Image Looks Too Red or Too Green

Applicable Models

This fault may occur on all IPC models.

Symptom

The images of an IPC that is directly connected to the video monitor looks too red or too green.

Cause

• The video cable is interfered by electromagnetic wave.
• The video cable is damaged.
• The IPC is damaged.

Solution

1. Install an electromagnetic shielding ring to the video cable or use another video cable with strong anti-electromagnetic capability, and view output images again.
   • If output images are normal, the procedure ends.
   • If output images are abnormal after an electromagnetic shielding ring is installed, go to 2.
   • If output images are abnormal after a video cable with strong anti-electromagnetic capability is used, go to 3.
2. Replace the video cable and view output images again.
   • If output images are normal, replace the original video cable with a new one.
   • If output images are abnormal, go to 3.
3. Replace the IPC.
4. Check whether the fault is rectified.
   • If yes, the procedure ends.
   • If no, contact your service provider for assistance
