Hello, everyone. I want to share a U2900 product case. [U29] Hardware Fault Log Collection Guide
Background
Scenario 1: U29 usually takes more time to deal with other problems.
Scenario 2: Before collecting logs, identify the faulty subracks and slots. The following uses slots 7 and 8 of subrack 2 as an example. The method of collecting information on the U2980 is the same as that on the U2990.
Method introduction
Please help collect the following log information to assist us in the analysis.
l Board operation log:
1.REATIME LOG. \\OMU IP\huawei\cgp\workshop\omu\share\run_log\dev_log\Sys\BBox\REALTIME--2 boxes of 7,8 slot
2.Importance LOG.\\OMU IP\huawei\cgp\workshop\omu\share\run_log\dev_log\Sys\Importance—2 boxes of 7,8 slot
3.REBOOT LOG. \\OMU IP\huawei\cgp\workshop\omu\share\run_log\dev_log\Sys\BBox\REBOOT—2 boxes of 7,8 slot
4.DEBUG LOG. \\OMU IP\huawei\cgp\workshop\omu\share\run_log\dev_log\V100R003C32B100\ME0\RUN\DEBUG—2 boxes of 7,8 slot
5.CDE's ME0 network element MML executes the following commands, respectively:
Get HWLOG:SRN=2, slot number=7;
Get HWLOG:SRN=2, slot number=8;
Wait five minutes,then get the Normal log
Normal LOG. \\OMU IP\huawei\cgp\workshop\omu\share\run_log\dev_log\Sys\Normal-2 boxes of 7,8 slot
6.OSUser LOG:\\OMU IP\huawei\cgp\workshop\omu\share\run_log\dev_log\Sys\OSUser-2 boxes of 7,8 slot
7.OS LOG. \\OMU IP\huawei\cgp\workshop\omu\share\run_log\dev_log\V100R003C35B200\ME0\RUN\OS—2 boxes of 7,8 slot
l Network port status
Run DSP PORT on ME0 to collect network port status information and provide the information.
l One-click information collection
Run the following commands on the ME0 NE of the CDE:
GET HWLOG: SRN=2, SN=23;
GET HWLOG: SRN=2, SN=7;
GET HWLOG: SRN=2, SN=8;
After the command is executed, wait for 5 minutes and obtain logs from the following path:
\\OMUIP\huawei\cgp\workshop\omu\share\run_log\dev_log\Sys\Normal\ (slots 7, 8, and 23 of subrack 2)
l Operation log
Run the LST OPTLOG command on the ME0 NE of the CDE.
Copy and save the execution result, and then provide feedback.
l Get version information
MML of Me0 network element of CDE executes DSP ver:; command, and feeds back the execution result
MML of Me0 network element of CDE executes DSP hwver: TN = BRD; command, and feeds back the execution results
MML of Me0 network element of CDE executes LST me:; command, and feeds back the execution results
l Environment Configuration
Run the CVT MML command on the ME0 of the CDE. Send the exported file to Huawei.
Samba directory: \\OMUIP\huawei\cgp\workshop\omu\share\export\mit\mml
SUSE OS directory: /opt/HUAWEI/cgp/workshop/omu/share/export/mit/mml
l Collecting Hard Disk Logs
Log in to the OMU / GSU board and execute the following command to collect the hard disk information:
lsiutil -p1 -a 21,1,0,0,0
lsiutil -p1 -a 21,2,0,0,0
lsiutil -p1 -a 21,3,0,0,0
smartctl -a /dev/sg0
smartctl -a /dev/sg1
smartctl -a /dev/sg2
cfggen 0 display
cfggen 0 status
sas2ircu 0 display
sas2ircu 0 status
iostat –x
