in the diagram, group is 'default' therefore shouldn't this be correct? I practically saw there's no answer to this question

As I understand it, you can use exclusions. The first three options are certainly correct. The option of D is that the AP does not join any group, but we can see that it has joined the default group. So I think it's wrong.
