Dear Jul_ang!
The situation you said may have the following reasons.
Cause 1. The optical amplifier board and the FIU board have incorrect optical fiber connections or are not connected or damaged.
a. Check whether the optical fiber of the board is incorrectly connected or not connected. If so, reconnect the optical fiber correctly.
b. Check the optical fiber or optical fiber connector on the optical interface of the board. If it is damaged, clean the optical fiber connector or replace the pigtail.
c. Query whether the alarm is cleared. If the alarm persists, go to Cause 2.
Cause 2. The patched fiber is faulty.
Check the output optical power of the optical amplifier board and the actual received optical power of the FIU board.
a. If the output optical power of the optical amplifier board is very small, adjust the input optical power of the optical amplifier board. If the alarm does not disappear, go to cause 3.
b. If the output optical power of the optical amplifier board is normal and the actual received optical power of the FIU board is small, replace the connected optical fiber. If the alarm does not disappear, go to cause 3.
Cause 3. Board failure.
a. If the alarm is not cleared, the board may be faulty. Replace the faulty board. If the board supports the pluggable optical module, replace the pluggable optical module; if the board does not support the pluggable optical module, reset the board.
b. Query whether the alarm is cleared. If the alarm persists, contact Huawei engineers.
Thanks!
