Hello, experts!

I have an issue with OceanStor 9000.

What are the differences between the P36E nodes and C36E nodes of the OceanStor 9000?

Can you describe it briefly?

Dear piaopiaoran!

P36 and C36 nodes are same in enclosures, slots, and appearance. The differences are: a P36 node has 48 GB memory by default and is configured with SSDs, while a C36 node has 32 GB memory without SSDs configured. Therefore, P36 nodes have higher hardware costs and performance than C36 nodes. By nature, the hardware configurations of a C36 node can be upgraded to those of a P36 node.

Hope can help you!

Hello, piaopiaoran!

Have a nice day!

Both are RH5288 servers.

A P36E node has one SSD, with 48 GB default memory and dual CPUs.

A C36E node has no SSD, with 32 GB default memory and a single CPU.

Hope can help you!
