This post is about the differences between motion detection, Intrusion detection, Loitering detection, Abandoned object detection, Removed object detection, Tripwire.
Motion detection
When I choose a place on the IPC in which when someone goes through it, it triggers an alarm.
Intrusion detection
Same as motion detection, but for an area, like I want to protect an area in which I want an alarm triggered when someone enters that area.
Loitering detection
I put a box around a variable object, in which if someone moves around this object for like 30 seconds, an alarm is triggered.
Abandoned object detection
If someone left an object alone in a place without being moved for some time, an alarm is triggered.
Removed object detection
I choose some objects to put in an boxes on the IPC, if an object is removed, an alarm is triggered.
Tripwire detection
An imaginary line drawn on the IPC, if anyone goes through the line, an alarm is triggered.
