BACKGROUND INFORMATION


The LPT takes place between the Transmission sink and source, while LLF is between Client to Client:

Below is the network scenario for LPT.


When there's a fiber cut at Link B, Link B is faulty, while Link A is active:

When there's a fiber cut at Link B, Link B is faulty, while Link A is inactive.

What is CCM? and what is for?

Hi Lylanadya, the CCM is Continuous Check Messager. It acts like a ping to the devise continuously, but in a message.

Hi Steve, good question. When we implemented both LPT and LLF, the result is just like we implement the LLF only.
