Hello,

MSAP adopts traditional SDH technology, based on SDH technology, adopts advanced GFP, VCAT and LCAS technologies, and merges Ethernet switching technology and ATM switching technology to realize the integrated transmission of TDM business, Ethernet business and ATM business. In addition, MSAP also Can provide low-speed Nx64k private line, Ethernet extended service (EoXDSL), etc.

MSTP (Multi-Service Transfer Platform) (multi-service transfer platform based on SDH) refers to the multi-service node that provides simultaneous network access, processing and transmission of services such as TDM, ATM, and Ethernet based on the SDH platform and provides unified network management. The SDH-based multi-service transmission node should have the following main functional characteristics in addition to the functions of a standard SDH transmission node.

1- With the access function of TDM service, ATM service or Ethernet service;

2- The transmission function including TDM service, ATM service or Ethernet service includes point-to-point transparent transmission function;

3- With bandwidth multiplexing function of ATM service or Ethernet service;

4- It has the assignment function of mapping ATM services or Ethernet services to SDH virtual containers.

Both MSAP and MSTP are application platforms based on SDH transmission technology. MSTP generally refers to the operator's transmission network, and MSAP is used for large customer access. Generally speaking, it is the MSTP group ring and MSAP.

Thanks
