The Default User Name and Password of Huawei ONTs

Hi, there.


I use the default username and password such as root and admin respectively to log in to ONTs, but the system displays a message indicating that the account or password is incorrect. 


So, what are default username and passwords for logging in to an ONT?


Please help me, thx!

Hi dear,
Could you tell me what your device is? Because different ONTs and version have different user name and password, for example:
• EG Series
The default user name and password for common users are Epuser and userEp, respectively.
• Other Series
The default user name and password for common users are:
 V300R016C10 and before: root and admin, respectively.
 V300R017C00 and later: root and adminHW, respectively.

PS: Certain Service Providers may customize accounts and passwords, which are different from the default accounts and passwords listed in the preceding. For details, contact the corresponding Service Provider.
