Hello everyone!


Do you know how to solve the issue that the FusionAccess VM login fails and the error message "The current license is invalid or the number of licenses reachers the upper limit" occurs? Don't worry, the post will provide the solution to you, so do have a read below in order to find it!


ISSUE DESCRIPTION


The VM cannot be logged in and the error message "The current license is invalid or the number of licenses reachers the upper limit. Please contact the administrator.(Error code:410213)" occurs.

ISSUE ANALYSIS


1. Log in to the FusionAccess platform, choose System > Desktop Components > License and check whether the number of licenses is used up.

If the number of FusionAccess licenses is insufficient, expand the license capacity or log in to the GaussDB database, query the users who use desktops, delete the users who do not apply to VMs and release the licenses. For details, please see How Do I Release a FusionAccess License?.


2. If the number of licenses is sufficient, check whether the license and Desktop control items are the same.

a. Log in to the FusionAccess web client and choose System > Desktop Components > License to query the license type.


b. Choose System > Desktop Components > HDC to view the license control items. If they are the same, exclude them. If they are different, modify the license control items under HDC according to the license control items.


3. If the problem persists after the license type is changed to the same value, check whether the HDP Plus function is enabled. The HDP Plus function is supported by the license of the advanced edition. If the purchased license is not of the advanced edition, disable the HDP Plus function.

On FusionAccess, choose Desktop > Policy Management > Edit Policy Group > Display and modify HDP Plus.


SOLUTION


1. If the license is insufficient, expand the license capacity. The temporary processing mode is to release the license.


2. If the number of licenses is sufficient, check whether the purchased license model is the same as that configured on FusionAccess HDC. If they are different, modify the license model.


3. If the number of licenses is sufficient, check whether the HDP Plus function is enabled. This function is supported only by the advanced license.
