Hello guys, I will share with you the solution architecture of EC6.1 IPT.
The follow pircture shows the products used in the UC scenario of the Huawei CloudEC solution.

Product | Function |
|---|---|
Service application components | |
Cloud Unified Session Manager (CloudUSM) | The CloudUSM is the call processing and IPT service application software of the Huawei CloudEC solution. It provides IP voice services for enterprise users. The CloudUSM adopts a software-based design and can run on VMs of common servers or cloud platforms. The CloudUSM features high integration and flexible deployment to provide high-performance and high-reliability services for enterprise users. The CloudUSM contains the following subsystems:
|
Meeting Server (MS) | The MS is a multimedia conference server in the Huawei CloudEC pure IPT scenario. Provides rich multimedia conference services, including data sharing. In the UC scenario, the MS provides various data conference functions through the web conference client, including desktop sharing, document sharing, media sharing, whiteboard, text communication, questionnaire, and notes. |
Cloud Enhanced Communications Suite (CloudECS) | The CloudECS provides soft client connection and PGM services. The CloudECS, which uses the pure software-based design, can run on a VM of a universal server. The CloudECS has the following features:
The CloudECS consists of four service components:eServer,MAA,UMServer,BMU |
Unified Messaging System (UMS) | The Unified Messaging System (UMS) is an intelligent, high-performance, and multi-channel unified messaging system developed by Huawei. It provides voice and fax mailbox services for users. |
Media processing components | |
Media resource server (MRP6600) | The MRP6600 provides announcement playing and digit collection resources. The MRP6600 can process H.248 messages and RTP data streams. The MRFC (provided by the CloudUSM) interacts with the MRP6600 using the H.248 protocol over the Mp interface to manage media resources. |
Operation support components | |
CCF (iCG9815) | The iCG9815 is used for CDR processing. |
EMS and DMS (eSight) | As a unified terminal management system, eSight centrally manages IP phones and SoftConsoles. eSight functions as a unified network management system and provides status monitoring and alarm management for network-wide devices. |
Access gateway components | |
Unified Gateway (U1900 Series) | The U1900 series unified gateway is an access gateway in the Huawei CloudEC solution. The gateway can connect to the PSTN through digital or analog trunks. The U1900 also provides the local regeneration function to support SIP and analog user access, enhancing service reliability of branch nodes. Figure 2 Appearances of U1900 series gateways ![]() |
Integrated Access Device (IAD) | The Integrated Access Device (IAD) is an integrated access device in the Huawei CloudEC solution. Connects analog terminals to the IP phone system. Figure 3 Appearances of the IAD series ![]() |
SBC (SE1000) | The SE1000 functions as an SBC to provide NAT traversal and signaling and media proxy functions on the border network. |
Terminals | |
IP Phone (8950) | Huawei IP phone 8950 is an intelligent IP phone that integrates voice, video, and UC applications. Figure 4 Phone appearance ![]() |
IP Phone (7900 Series) | Huawei IP Phone 7900 series is a new-generation high-quality IP phone, including IP Phone 7910 (mainstream business IP phone), IP Phone 7950 (high-end business IP phone), and expansion module 7903X. Figure 5 Apperance of IP Phone ![]() |
Web Conferencing Client | The Web Conference Client is a data conference client in the Huawei CloudEC solution and provides various conference control functions. A user clicks the link in the conference notification email to start the Web Conference Client to join the conference. Figure 6 Web Conferencing Client user interface ![]() |
SoftConsole | The SoftConsole is an IP-based softphone platform that runs on a PC. Provides manual services for enterprises, including automatic call allocation, queuing, transfer, and night service. Figure 7 SoftConsole user interface ![]() |
