The client side cannot realize the automatic shutdown function

Hi!

We have a WDM network which composed of a lot of OSN6800 equipment and OSN3800 equipment, we configure a lot of unidirectional SNCP broadcast services on this network. The strange thing is that if there is an abnormality on the line side, the branch client-side cannot automatically turn off the laser. What is the reason?

Please help provide the root cause, thank you!

Dear friends!

There are three types of laser automatic shutdown: IPA, ALS and LPT. The IPA function is to turn off the laser of the amplifier board when the optical cable is interrupted; the ALS function single board scenario can only be passed down and cannot be returned. LPT only supports two-way services, which cannot meet your needs. Please follow the normal business configuration method.

Hi ,
In DWDM OSN6800 the client side doesnt studown leaser if Line side has leaser cut (loss)
It usually has R-LOF alarm .

Do you mean that I recognize the R-LOF alarm and manually turn off the optical module on the client side?
