Problem Description
When configuring the STM-16 service, you need to configure 203(ClientLP3/ClientLP3)-1 for the TX2/RX2 port. The problem is similar to the following: The board does not support this cross-connection. Error code: 42870.
Handling Process
To solve this problem, check the working mode of the TOA board. When STM-16 services are configured on the 54TOA board, change the working mode to ODU1 non-convergence mode (n x Any->ODU1).
The query result is as follows:
Working mode: ODU1 non-convergence mode (Any->ODU1)
According to the product manual, the following restrictions are found:
Only the first optical channel of each ClientLP can be configured on the client side. When STM-16 services are received on the client side, only the first optical channel of each ClientLP board can be configured. The client-side ports must correspond to the logical ports on the board, as shown in the following figure. 3(TX1/RX1)-1 Configure cross-connections to 201(ClientLP1/ClientLP1)-1 and 4(TX2/RX2)-1, configure cross-connections to 202(ClientLP2/ClientLP2)-1......, and so on.
According to the preceding solution, configure 203(ClientLP3/ClientLP3)-1 for port TX3/RX3. The service configuration is success.
Root Cause
The cross-connection rule is not configured on the user board.
Solution
Reconfigure services based on cross-connection rules.
