This time, I will share with you a case about the board cannot be added due to insufficient licenses.
Problem Description
The LOA board failed to be added to slot 8 of the OSN 9800 M12. NCE also reported the following information:
Handling Process
The possible causes are as follows:
1. The version of the board to be added does not match the version of the SCC board or NCE.
2. The user does not have permission to add boards.
3. No corresponding license is available.
4. The communication between the NE and the NMS is abnormal.
According to the preceding screenshots, it is preliminarily determined that the problem is caused by the license.
After checking, it is found that the root cause of the problem is insufficient licenses. The existing license has exceeded the consumption. The licensed item is NSSSTTPOTNS01.
After the license is updated, the board is added successfully.
Root Cause

Solution
Update the license.
