Symptoms
Health status of the FC CET0.B.H2 port on the controller: faulty, high BER.
Cause
An internal exception occurs on port 7 of the Fibre Channel switch.
Analysis
1、 According to the networking,Log in to the seven hosts (preferred site storage) and run the following command on the hosts:upadmin show path:Check the status of the active-active storage array 02 (path_id = 02):intermittent fault degradation,Other paths are normal。The link between the storage and switch is faulty. So, check the link between port B.H2 of the storage device and port 7 of the switch.

2、 Check the port configuration on the storage side: auto-negotiation, point-to-point, port enabling status, fabric, and port bit error rate of more than 20,000. Check the port configuration of the switch. The AN auto-negotiation, padding word 3, port status, and rate are normal. Run the sfpshow DBW command to check the normal value of the SFP port. Port statistics: portshow The error value of frame loss is high.
3、 Replace the SFP on A.H2 with the SFP on B.H2. The alarm persists on port B.H2. Therefore, the SFP on the storage side is not caused by the SFP on the storage side.
4、 After the optical fiber is replaced twice, port B.H2 still reports an alarm.
5、 After the SFP port 7 on the switch is replaced, port B.H2 still reports an alarm.
6、 On the storage side, switch the jumper between port B.H2 and port A.H2,Port A and port H2 alarm is faulty. Reconnect the jumper.
7、 Exchange the SFP ports of port 7 and port 15. The fault does not occur and the fault is not caused by the SFP ports.
8、 Connect the jumper on the switch to port15. The alarm is automatically cleared.
9、 Check whether port 7 of the switch is faulty.
