The BBU and Fan Information Queried Through SNMP Changes

234 0 1 0 0

Hi, Community!

I have a question about BBU, Fan, and power supply queried through SNMP is 0A.1 or 0B.0 from time to time.

Symptom

Information about BBU, Fan, and power supply queried through SNMP is 0A.1 or 0B.0 from time to time.

Causes

Root cause: On the new hardware of OceanStor V3 series and OceanStor V5 series, the underlying fan, power supply, BBU, and management board are shared by controllers within a controller enclosure.

They may be reported from controller A or controller B at random with corresponding ID denoted with A or B, respectively. This is not a fault.

That's all, thanks!
