This post will tell you one issue for The AUX Board Software in the Extended Subrack of an OptiX OSN 3500 NE Is Displayed Improperly Due to Software Problem.
Problem description:
This case occurs when the T2000 queries the board software on a new OptiX OSN 3500 NE. On the T2000, the AUX board software version in the main subrack is displayed as 3.13, whereas the AUX board software version in the extended subrack is displayed as 1.0.
The customer wonders why the AUX boards in the same batch are of different versions.
The OptiX OSN 3500 NE version is V100R006 C02B012.
Handling procedure:
The AUX works on a hardware basis and does not run software. The AUX version information displayed on the T2000 is sourced from the file information stored on the SCC. On OptiX OSN 3500 V100R006 C02B012, the file updates the AUX version in the main subrack to 3.13, but does not update the AUX version in the extended subrack. Thus, the AUX version in the extended subrack is displayed different from the AUX version in the main subrack.
Root cause:
NA.
Solution:
This fault is due to a defect in OptiX OSN 3500 V100R006 C02B012. Upgrade the OptiX OSN 3500 to V100R006C02B014.
