The AR fails to load the system software package or start

Hello, I would like to share a case about AR2240 fails to load the version files in BootROM mode. Hope you like it.

Fault diagnostic

A new AR2240 fails to load the version files in BootROM mode and start.

Fault analysis

During device startup, press Ctrl+B to enter the BootROM main menu when the following message is displayed.

Select 3. The following information is displayed:

Select 4. The following information is displayed:

Check SD Card[1] file system. Please wait....
SD Card check Fail! Please FORMAT SD Card first.

The preceding information shows that the SD card fails to be initialized. The SD card may be not properly installed during transportation. Remove the SRU. Remove and reinstall the SD card. The fault is rectified.

Suggestion

It is a common problem that the SD card or memory module is not properly installed during transportation. Determine whether the SD card or memory module is installed properly by checking the information displayed on the AR. If the card is not properly installed, the fault can be rectified by removing and reinstalling the card.
