Hi team, here's a new case.
Symptom
On the eBackup page of the virtualization version, a user chooses Monitor > Alarm to report "Failed to clear residual resources of the FusionSphere VM backup task."

Possible Cause
1. Backup tasks related to the VM fail, but cannot be cleared.
Solution
For cause 1:
1. Obtain the ID of the failed task from the alarm in the screenshot, for example, 85b61b5f-c90a-4b56-b9ac-39c4b0e04ae7.
2. Copy the task ID, choose eBackup Monitoring > Task, and enter the task ID for filtering.

3. If the result obtained in step 2, the VM fails to be backed up because Tools is not installed on FusionCompute. After Tools is installed, perform the backup again. The backup is expected to be successful.
4. After the backup is successful, manually delete the alarm indicating the resource deletion failure. Continue to observe whether the problem recurs.
