The agreement between the controller enclosure and the disk enclosure

The controller enclosure and the disk enclosure are cascaded through a 6G min SAS cable, so what is the agreement between them? At present, the mainstream FC-SAN adopts 8G, and only 6G between the controller box and the disk box will become the IO bottleneck?
