Hello all, this case mainly talks about accessclient device cannot identify USB redirection.

Problem Description

Deselected“USB Redirection”, The USB device information is displayed on USB(Client).

Selected“USB Redirection”, The USB device information is not displayed on both USB(Client).and USB(VM).

Version information

Host: windows10 1903 PC

FusionAccess: R6C20

Problem Analysis

1. In the client log, search for the keyword KeyPoint_BasicPolicy.It is found that USB redirection is always enabled.

2. Check the latest file in C:\HdpLog\clientlog. Search the file for the keywordpUsbIdPolicy. The result shows that the PID wildcard policy has been configured on the device and redirection is allowed.

3. Check the client driver log C:\HdpLog\TraceLog\TraceKernelC_0.log, search for the keyword [ERROR] USB_DRIVER, and find the error message "getting configuration descriptor failed!" and “get DevicePropertyCompatibleIDs failed”.

4. Check the PC device manager. It is found that the USB driver of the AccessClient client is abnormal. The device status information indicates that the Windows OS cannot start the hardware device because the configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19).

After verification, it is found that the AccessClient driver of the R6C20 version is not registered with the Windows 10 1903 driver signature. Therefore, the driver is incompatible.

Root Cause

According to the compatibility query result, the client driver of V100R006C20 is incompatible with Windows 10 1903.

Upgrade AccessClient to 6.5
