After installing UTP cables, it is necessary to test these cables for attenuation, crosstalk, wiremape, length, etc.

Do the testers give only pass/fail results or can they measure the value of some parameters, for example - signal level, attenuation/crosstalk ratio, etc. What are these testers or instruments? What parameters can they measure? And what are the good values of these parameters?
