When i run the display temperature threshold command on my ea5801 8 port olt it is showing that the global temperature threshold is not set. How can i set the threshold? I’m uploading an image containing information of my olt.
The temperature threshold command is used to set the system-level temperature alarm thresholds. To set the temperature alarm thresholds for all the boards in an entire subrack to a global value, run this command.
Modifying the system-level temperature alarm thresholds may result in abnormal board shutdown. Therefore, it is not recommended that you modify the system-level temperature alarm thresholds. This command is for debugging only.
The undo temperature threshold command is used to cancel the system-level temperature alarm thresholds. After this command is executed successfully, the temperature alarm thresholds of the board are restored to the default value.

Parameter
Description
Value
high-temperature
Indicates the system-level alarm threshold of high temperature.
Float type. Range: 40 to 105. The value must be an integer.
Unit: °C.
low-temperature
Indicates the system-level alarm threshold of low temperature.
Float type. Range: -40 to 20. The value must be an integer.
Unit: °C.
Modes

Level

Usage Guidelines
Temperature alarms are reported when the temperatures of temperature-protected boards reach the temperature alarm thresholds.
There are two kinds of temperature alarm thresholds: system-level and board-level.
System-level: all temperature-protected boards share the same temperature alarm threshold. Run the temperature threshold command to set the system-level temperature alarm threshold.
Board-level: temperature thresholds are determined by board capacities and can be set by using the temperature threshold(diagnose) command in diagnose mode.
The priority of the system level is higher than that of the board level, that is, the board level takes effect only when the system level is not set. The board level cannot be set when the system level is set.
The boards differ in heat tolerance and models; therefore, it is recommended that you run this command only when required.
Example
To set the system-level temperature alarm threshold with high temperature 100°C and low temperature -40°C, do as follows:
huawei(config)#temperature threshold{ high-temperature<F><40,105> }:100{ low-temperature<F><-40,20> }:-40
Command:
temperature threshold 100 -40
This operation may affect the board temperature management and fan speed
adjustment, which may lead to board damage or service abnormality.
To cancel the system-level temperature alarm threshold, do as follows:
huawei(config)#undo temperature threshold
This operation may affect the board temperature management and fan speed
adjustment, which may lead to board damage or service abnormality.
System Response
The system does not display any message after the command is executed successfully.
For more information about the error message that the system displays against a command entered with incorrect syntax, see the "Syntax Check" in Parameter.

Function
This command is used to query the temperature alarm threshold of boards that support temperature alarms.

Usage Guidelines
The temperature threshold is related to board capabilities. This command is applicable to boards that support temperature alarm threshold configuration.
By default, the system-level temperature alarm threshold is not set. You can run the temperature threshold command to set the system-level temperature alarm threshold.
Example
To query the system-level temperature alarm threshold, do as follows:
huawei#display temperature threshold
The temperature threshold of the system:
Up-limit : 50C( 122F)
Down-limit: 10C( 50F)
System Response
The system displays the queried result when the command runs successfully.
For more information about the error message that the system displays against a command entered with incorrect syntax, see the "Syntax Check" in Parameter.
