Today, I would like to continue and share with you about the techno-economic model - access network components.

Table 1 shows the components used in this analysis. The components are divided into five segments (see below Fig. 1). The inside plant and feeder segment components are common to all solutions.

Optimally, there would eventually be 32 fibers reaching the ONTs of 32 homes. For example if the primary split is 1x4 and the secondary split is 1x8, then the network splitting ratio (or split scenario) will be 32. This means that a single feeder network supports 32 subscribers.
The aggregation node, distribution and end user segments have different components, depending on each technology. In the above table components for the four wired technologies used in the model are presented.
The inside plant and feeder components are the same as the wired technologies.
