Hello, guys!
Have a nice day!
This topic describes the solution to third gatekeeper registration.
The customer encountered an issue when trying to register the TE30 videoconferencing endpoint to a third party GK service. The registration request was being rejected.
Handling process
In order to troubleshoot the reported issue which pointed out to an incorrect endpoint configuration we have requested the following information/steps to be checked:
The firmware version currently running on the TE30
Current ongoing alarms that are displayed on the web interface regarding GK registration failure
Make sure that the below procedure has been followed:
Procedure
Verify that registration information is successfully sent.
Verify that the receiving end successfully receives the registration information.
Verify that the endpoint connects to the network properly and endpoint configurations are correct.
If the fault persists, restart the endpoint.
In order to perform this verification go to Advanced > Settings > Network > IP > H323 and check the GK parameters.
We have also requested from the customer the configuration file and signaling diagnostics and logs from the web interface.
After we have looked over the configuration file and also the signaling diagnostics sent and we have found that the encryption mode <val name="H235Policy" type="UINT8">0</val> is currently set to 0 which means that the Encryption mode is set to Not and from the RRJ (Registration Reject) reason sent from the GK service towards the endpoint 10.4.100.5 is a SecurityDenial as it can be seen below:

The customer stated that he also has a TE10 that can register with the same GK service so we requested H323 credentials and configuration file (H323 ID; Authentication username; Number ) in order to attempt to register a TE endpoint to this service and gather logs.
Root Cause
The root cause of this issue was caused by the parameters present on the TE30 that were wrongfully set. Parameters in question are Encryption Mode and Huawei GK.
Solution
After we have managed to reproduce the issue in our lab environment using the H323 credentials provided by the customer and we managed to successfully register the endpoint with Encryption mode set to No and Huawei GK set to Enable as per the below picture:
