The online document shows how to set DDNS

I have used DYNDNS to test it,

TE30 firmware TE60 V600R019C00SPC200

DDNS update URL: https://members.dyndns.org/v3/update

Expected to see Public IP, but

Result: Internal IP (192.168.1.xxx) is updated to DYNDNS

hello bro,

In my opinion, DDNS is a standard protocol, we should identify the issue is caused by the TE or network first.
we suggest capture the packets first to see where is the issue. if the issue is caused by the TE codec. we suggest you raise a Ticket and get for help in order to follow this until it resolved.
