Hello, guys!
Today, I'll share with you how to deal with the problem that TE Desktop cannot join a conference in video mode.
Problem Description
Scenario: use SMC2.0 to schedule a conference.
Symptom: The TE Desktop clicks the "video call" to join the conference, but the system only shows the interface of audio incoming call, it cannot join a conference in video mode.
Analysis
1. Check whether the TE Desktop is added as the Audio-only on the SMC2.0. It is confirmed that the TE Desktop isn't added as the Audio-only, and it can join a conference in video mode before.

2. Collect the logs of TE Desktop and MCU9650 and analyze the MCU call process and the mode of TE Desktop joining a conference.
Terminal audio call logs:

MCU logs: The MCU responds to the audio message.

Terminal video call logs:

MCU logs: The MCU replies with an audio message.

According to the logs, when the SMC2.0 calls the TE desktop, the TE desktop joins the conference in audio mode. Before the conference ends, the TE desktop hangs up. SMC2.0 calls TE Desktop again, and the SMC delivers the capability of the audio conference site. (After the TE desktop hangs up, the SMC2.0 is still in the conference. The SMC calls the TE desktop for the second time and considers it to be an audio conference site.)
After hanging up the conference site, TE Desktop dials in again in a short time, and SMC2.0 can inherit the capability of the previous call.
Solution
If you want to join the conference by video when you dial in for the second time, you can manually switch to video conference after joining.
