[Scenario info]
Huawei VDI scenario + eBackup solution
Production Version:
FusionCompute version: 6.3.1
FusionAccess version: FusionAccess V100R006C20SPC103
eBackup version: OceanStor BCManager V200R001C00SPC253
[Handling Process]
1.we checked the cirtical and major alarm on monitoring center, there was no cirtical and major alarm about host and data store.
2.we checked the available capacity on data store, it's sufficient.
3.we checked the work status of vmtool, it's working fine.
4.we checked the work load on that physical machine, currently the work load was light.
5.we collected the CNA logs, then we found the disk expansion failed, because the CBT status check failed. after discussing the issue with expert team, perpaps the VM was in running status, and CBT proccess was tracing the block chnage real time. there was no opportunity to adjust the disk size for qemu process.

[Root Cause]
eBackup server has ever made a full backup on this VM, so there was a CBT file, it's in the same folder with VM disk image. it real time recorded the change of block of VM disk. when the VM was in the running status, and the data changed frequently, so there was a low possibility to fail to expand the disk capacity.
[Solution]
Shutdown the target VM, and wait 5 mins until the VM has been stopped completely. then adjusting the disk capacity.
