Today, I'd like to share with you the TAG Attributes of Ethernet port.
To understand TAG Attributes of Ethernet port, first, need to understand the two types of data frames:
- Untagged: Ethernet frames that do not carry VLAN tags
- Tagged: Ethernet frames with VLAN tags
For example, for a transport network product, the TAG attribute can be TAG Aware, Access, or Hybrid.
