Configuring the TACACS+ Service

1. In the user view, run the system-view command to enter the system view.

2. Run the tacacs state enable command in the system view to enable TACACS.

3. Run the tacacs server type ip port role command in the system view to add a TACACS server.

4. Run the tacacs response timeout timevalue command in the system view to set the response timeout period of the TACACS server.

5. Run the tacacs quiet time timevalue command in the system view to set the wait-to-restore (WTR) time of the TACACS server.

6. Run the tacacs sharedkey key command in the system view to set the TACACS shared key.
