-Transmission Containers(T-CONTs): it dynamically receives grants delivere by OLT. T-CONT's are used for the management of upstream bandwith allocation in the PON section of the Transmission Convergence layer. T-CONT are primarily used to improve the upstream bandwith use on the PON.
