Hello, friend!

I'm sorry I'm late. This operation needs to be set on the NMS side. I take NCE as an example. The detailed operations are as follows:

Setting System Temperature Threshold

Navigation Path on the Global Side

1. Open the Network Management app and choose Service > Access Service > Access Profile Management from the main menu.

2. In the dialog box that is displayed, choose System Parameter Profile from the navigation tree.

3. On the System Parameter Profile tab page, select the required device type from the Device Type drop-down list. In the information list, right-click and choose Add Global Profile from the shortcut menu.

4. In the dialog box that is displayed, enter the name of the system parameter profile. Click to enlarge to add all parameters that from the Parameters for Selection navigation tree to the Selected Parameters navigation tree, and then click Next.

5. Select System Temperature Threshold from the Parameter for Selection navigation tree.

Navigation Path on the NE Side

1. Open the Network Management app and choose Topology > View > Physical Topology from the main menu. On the Physical Topology tab page, press Ctrl+F. Enter an NE name or IP address. In the search result list that is displayed, click the name of the target NE. In the Operations area, click NE Explorer.

2. Select NE Properties > Parameter for Selection from the navigation tree.

Configuring the Function of Shutting Down a Card at High Temperature

1. Open the Network Management app and choose Topology > View > Physical Topology from the main menu. On the Physical Topology tab page, press Ctrl+F. Enter an NE name or IP address. In the search result list that is displayed, click the name of the target NE. In the Operations area, click NE Explorer.

2. Choose NE Panel from the navigation tree.

3. Select a record from the card list, right-click, and then choose Power Supply > Power On or Power Supply > Power Off.

Thanks!

hi my friend,

Actually these are not our solution, i think. I mean, we need to set "protect enable" according to temperature threshold on OLT. And second request is " when datacenter aircondition is faulty and ambient temperature is increasing , OLT generate alarm. For example , ıf card temperature 80 degree , card will be protect mode. And second example, if enviroment temperature 40 degree, OLT generate alarm. Am i clear?

Hello, friend!

As for the second requirement, I confirm that the high-temperature for shutdown cannot be configured on the device side and NMS side, because boards carry services, and device and board shutdown is a high-risk operation. If the device and or board are automatically shut down, services will be affected. Therefore, neither the device nor the NMS supports this function.

However, you can monitor the OLT temperature through the NMS. If the OLT temperature is too high, you can configure the high-temperature alarm according to the first requirement and manually disable and restore the OLT.

Thanks!
