Dear friend, You need to undertake two steps. Step 1. Introduce clock signals. The GPS clock signals are imported through the clock interface on the AUX board of the OptiX OSN 580.
Step 2. Configure clock signals on the OptiX OSN 580. Set the priority of External Clock Source Mode to 1.
Step 3. Configure clocks on other NEs and obtain the clock signals of the OptiX OSN 580. The clock is obtained by extracting clock signals from the line. For example, if the NE is connected to the OptiX OSN 580 through 3-EG8-2, set the clock level of the port to 1. For more information, click Configuring Clocks.
