Suspect Port fordwarding does not work for 80

I am setting up a port fordwarding on my DVR which is requesting to use 80 and 8000. But it does not work.


I suspect port 80 is not allowed and I should use other port then 80 such as 8080.


My model is B316-855

B316-855TD-LTEport-fordwarding

B316-855 is a consumer device.


Port 80 is the HTTP service. As you said, port 80 cannot be forwarded. The port forwarding configuration of the device cannot forward well-known ports because of service conflicts. Therefore, you are advised to change the forwarding port.
