Dears,
This post is related to SUN2000-(3.8KTL-11.4KTL)-US L0's optimizers issue: in the last period we had a lot customers which complained about the residential inverters (US/Canada model) which has "an abnormal" behavior, as follow:
- both LED's are red and blinks;
- no voltage on the DC strings (it's normal, only when the optimizers are unlocked & added into the inverter they will start to output DC voltage);
- active alarm 2080 / ID 3 - Abnormal PV Module Configuration;
- optimizers can be unlocked from FusionHome APP but can't be find by the inverter.
To confirm this issue, please connect locally with the FusionHome App (Installer / Password:00000a) ->Device Information ->Alarm Management ->Active alarm.
All the above issues are related to a single root cause: the installation of PV optimizers (one or more) was not done accordingly (cross cables or reversed connections).
Each time the issue was solved by checking one by one each optimizer and identify where the connection was unproper done. After that, that 2080 /ID 3 alarm dissapeared, application allowed the optimizers to be unlocked / discovered and added to inverter and the commissioning proccess to be successfuly finished.
