In a project, Huawei SUN2000-175KTL-H0 string inverters are used. Two inverters generate alarms indicating that the external fan is abnormal. Onsite engineers find that one of the fans does not rotate. After the fan is manually rotated, the fans run properly.
Cause: The project where this fault occurs is a desert project. When the project is windy, dust will be generated and some fans will be stuck in the sand.
Precautions:
Step 1: Turn off the DC/AC switch of the inverter. After the fan stops running, remove the fan screws.
Step 2: Gently pull out the fan to prevent internal cables from being broken.
Step 3: Disconnect the internal cables, and then pull out the fan tray.
Step 4: After the fault is rectified, connect internal cables and reinstall the fan.
