SUN2000-10KTL-M1 - how should the built-in PID be configured for N-type panels?

HiCoins as reward: 0 (problem unresolved)

Hello,

I have N-type panels ( Jinko JKM365N-6TL3-V ) and the SUN2000-10KTL-M1 inverter.

How should I configure the build-in PID feature parameters, especially the 'PID running mode' and 'PID nighttime off-grid repair'?
Shoud these be enabled at all for N-type panels?

Thanks in advance.

Hello, friend.

On the home screen, choose Settings > Feature Parameters and set related parameters.

Set PID running mode to Repair (disabled by default).

Set Nighttime off-grid, this parameter is displayed when Built-in PID running mode is set to Repair.

Hello,
thanks for the prompt answer.

I'm a bit confused, bucause I've had a look at the inverter datasheet and I've found the following information (please see the attached screenshot):

"PID recovery function to recover module degradation from PID. Supported module types include: P-type (mono, poly)"

Just to make sure - is this functionality beneficial and working correctly also with N-type panels?

Thanks

Hello, friend.
Yes, the inverter supports internal PID repair. The SUN2000-5-12KTL-M1 uses the PID repair function to increase the potential between the PV- and the ground to above 0 V to repair component attenuation. Supported component types include P-type (mono and poly).

Hello,
Hmm, thanks for the reply, but I feel like my answer is still not yet answered, because you are mentioning P-type panels, not N-type which I'm interested in.

The question I'm looking an answer for is: is it safe and beneficial to use the PID repair for the N-type panels?

I just don't want to destroy my N-Type panels with this function if it only supports P-type panels.

Thanks
