Log in to each node of the N8500 from the serial port and run ethtool priveth0 |grep Link; ethtool priveth1 |grep Link. If the connection status of both heartbeat network ports is yes, the heartbeat connection is correct. Otherwise, it is incorrect. Check hardware connections and whether the ports are P0 and P2.
