Scenario: NAS engine or storage arrays cannot be detected during the initialization process.
[Cause analysis]
Firewall and Symantec Endpoint Protection are not disabled. As a result, the NAS engine or storage arrays cannot be detected.
[Handling procedure]
Step 1: Disable the Symantec Endpoint Protection software.
Step 2: Disable the firewall. For protection set on the laptop that you cannot identify, contact technical support or IT hotline.
Step 3: Re-scan for the device and re-initialize it.
