Hi Team,

Can the same storage node join multiple storage pools for Fusionstorage? Thank you.

Dear Axe,
A server can only be in one storage pool, which is introduced in the "Description"-> "Product Features"-> "Technical Indicators" of Fusionstorage product documentation. Thanks.

HI ,
It is recommended that all storage nodes in a storage pool have the same number of main storage disks. In a storage pool, the difference in quantities between main storage disks on any two storage nodes must not be greater than 2 or 30% in proportion. Otherwise, creating the storage pool will fail.
All storage nodes in a storage pool must have the same number of cache disks. Otherwise, creating the storage pool will fail.
The total capacity of cache disks on a single storage node in a storage pool must be at least Max. Main Storage Media per Node x 40 GB. Otherwise, creating the storage pool will fail.
For a single storage node, it is recommended that the ratio of cache to main storage be greater than or equal to (Total cache capacity on the node - Max. Main Storage Media per Node x 40 GB)/(Max. Main Storage Media per Node x Capacity of a single main storage disk).
