Why is RAID5 with 9 disks with 128kb striping depth the best performance, but not with 18 disks with 64kb striping depth. Isn't the performance better if more disks are mobilized?
What is the relationship between chunks and striping? If an io only has 100kb (9 disks with 128kb striping depth RAID5), then it is read/write, and the chunk is 128kb. When sending data, this 128kb chunk is also sent to the hard disk?
Is the next 100kb io to write a stripe or write the remaining space of the stripe?
