How to calculate how many VC12 signals make one STM-1 signal . Please help.

I know that 63 E1 signals make one STM-1 signal.
E1=2048kbit/s while STM-1 is 155M.
63x2048=129024 which is not equal to 155M.
Are the rest the POH and SOH bytes?
